For our Campus Berlin we are currently seeking for winter semester 2020/2021, starting October 5th, 2020 a

Lecturer for MASTER Statistics and Business Mathematics (Lecture and Exercise) (f/m/n)

The course is to take place online AND at the Berlin campus, in compliance with current hygiene regulations.

Upon completion of the module, students are capable of
  • identifying the most important economically-relevant function types and their economic applications.
  • solving key economic questions (e.g. turnover and profit maximisation) with the aid of the differential calculus.
  • independently processing finance-mathematical problems.
  • independently developing assumptions (hypotheses) based on observed data using explorative statistics.
  • testing hypotheses with the help of statistical test methods.
  • investigating correlation or dependency structures between variables and determining structures in data

Lecture is taking place online on Fridays, e.g. via MS Teams and Exercise is taking place at the Berlin Campus on Thursdays.
